V-Drive Boats

Malibu Boats Tip: Malibu Boats' v-drive emphasizes safety, while at the same time giving riders and skiers a smooth, powerful ride. The v-drive is different than the standard inboard/outboards because it has an important safety feature: the under-the-boat prop. The prop is located away from the swim platform and under the boat keeping swimmers safe. The v-drive's design also virtually eliminates any bow rise, giving the driver an uninhibited view of the horizon and the water's surface. The v-drive has done away with the lower drive, thus eliminating the risk of lower drive damage, making upkeep a breeze. Another benefit of this engine is with no bow rise, the v-drive allows the driver to make quick, tight turns for fast maneuvers and easy skier pickups.
